Commitum

Commitum AG was a Swiss biotechnology company focused on the development of novel radiopharmaceuticals for the treatment of cancer. The company's primary focus was on targeting Fibroblast Activation Protein (FAP), a protein highly expressed in the tumor microenvironment of many solid tumors. Its lead program, CMT-001, is a small-molecule FAP ligand designed for Targeted Radionuclide Therapy (TRT). In January 2023, Commitum was acquired by Ariceum Therapeutics to bolster Ariceum's pipeline of radiopharmaceutical assets. The acquisition allowed Ariceum to advance CMT-001 into clinical trials for various solid tumor indications.
