CommonHealth is a digital health platform and mobile application developed by The Commons Project Foundation to provide individuals with secure access to their personal health data. Functioning as an Android-based counterpart to Apple Health, the platform enables users to aggregate clinical records from thousands of health systems, labs, and pharmacies using HL7 FHIR standards. CommonHealth emphasizes user privacy and data sovereignty, allowing individuals to store their medical history locally and share it selectively with healthcare providers or for research purposes. The organization played a pivotal role in the development of the SMART Health Cards framework for digital health credentialing during the COVID-19 pandemic.
