Community Assisted and Supported Living

Community Assisted and Supported Living (CASL) is a Florida-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides permanent supportive housing, assisted living, residential treatment, and case management services. The organization focuses on adults with developmental differences, mental health diagnoses, substance use disorders, and other disabling conditions, as well as some workforce and homeless populations. CASL began with its first assisted living facility, Renaissance Manor, in 1998 and is headquartered in Sarasota, Florida. Its service model combines housing with access to medical and mental health care, financial assistance, and life-skills support through partnerships with nonprofit and public-sector organizations. Rather than operating a drug-development pipeline, CASL delivers community-based housing and supportive care services in multiple Florida counties.
