Company intelligence / Profile preview
Community Health Alliance (CHA) is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and the largest provider of primary medical and dental services to low-income and Medicaid patients in Northern Nevada. Formed in 2012 through the merger of HAWC Community Health Centers and Saint Mary’s Mission Outreach, the organization operates six health centers and multiple mobile units across Reno and Sparks. CHA provides integrated care including primary medicine, pediatrics, reproductive health, behavioral health, and dental services, alongside low-cost pharmacies and prescription food pantries. A key initiative is its Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, which addresses the opioid crisis in Washoe County through evidence-based care and wraparound support services.
