Community Medical Center

Community Medical Centers (CMC) is a private, not-for-profit healthcare network based in Fresno, California, and is the largest healthcare provider and employer in the Central San Joaquin Valley. The system operates four main hospitals—Community Regional Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center, Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital, and Community Behavioral Health Center—along with the Community Cancer Institute and various outpatient facilities. Through a long-standing partnership with UCSF Fresno, CMC serves as a major clinical research hub, hosting hundreds of active research studies and clinical trials in areas such as oncology, cardiology, and infectious diseases. The network is home to the region's only Level I Trauma Center and comprehensive burn center, providing high-acuity care to a diverse population regardless of their ability to pay.
