Compassoft was a specialized software provider focused on governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) solutions for the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries. The company's technology addressed the regulatory challenges associated with End User Computing (EUC) applications, such as spreadsheets and databases, which are critical for clinical data and financial reporting. Its flagship products, including Enterprise, EXChecker, and DaCS, enabled organizations to maintain audit trails, version control, and electronic signatures in compliance with FDA 21 CFR Part 11. Compassoft was acquired by Finsbury Solutions in 2009, and its technology was later integrated into the CIMCON Software portfolio following a subsequent acquisition in 2023.
