Overview

Compedica’s lead product, the OptiPulse® active therapy system, is a wearable prescription-only medical device designed to treat and prevent diabetic foot ulcers by enhancing blood flow and offloading pressure. In a single-arm prospective feasibility study of patients with non-healing DFUs, 80% achieved full wound closure within 12 weeks. The mean healing time was 41 days. No serious adverse events were reported[3]. A larger randomized clinical trial is underway with results expected in late 2025[4].
