Conforma Therapeutics developed small molecule inhibitors targeting the heat shock protein 90 (HSP90) chaperone system, with a focus on oncology. Their lead program, CNF1010, was a proprietary form of the geldanamycin derivative 17-AAG and was in Phase I clinical trials for cancer at the time of acquisition.
