Connect Midlands was a prominent technology and business support network based in the West Midlands, UK, primarily operating out of the University of Warwick Science Park. Modeled after the successful CONNECT program in San Diego, it focused on bridging the gap between academia, industry, and capital to foster high-growth startups in sectors such as life sciences, medical technology, and ICT. The organization was well-known for its 'Bio-Connect' initiative, which provided specialized mentoring and investment readiness support for early-stage biotech and healthcare companies. Although it played a critical role in the regional innovation ecosystem during the 2000s, the entity was eventually dissolved in 2012.
