Connecticut Prevention Network

The Connecticut Prevention Network (CPN) is a statewide association of the five Regional Behavioral Health Action Organizations (RBHAOs) in Connecticut. The organization is dedicated to promoting best practices in substance use prevention and behavioral health across the lifespan through education, training, and advocacy. CPN works in partnership with the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) to address community concerns such as opioid misuse, suicide prevention, and problem gambling. Its initiatives include statewide public awareness campaigns like "You Think You Know" and "Change the Script," as well as the coordination of regional suicide advisory boards. By integrating evidence-based practices across state and local departments, CPN aims to foster healthy, inclusive communities and reduce the impact of substance misuse and mental health issues.
