Conpharm

Conpharm AB was a Swedish biopharmaceutical company based in Uppsala, specializing in the development of anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory therapies derived from natural products. The company is best known for its lead candidate, CPH-82 (Reumacon), a semi-synthetic podophyllotoxin derivative that reached Phase 3 clinical trials for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Conpharm also successfully developed and commercialized Wartec (podophyllotoxin) for the treatment of condyloma, which was later licensed to Meda AB. Historically backed by investors such as HealthCap and Industrifonden, the company was listed on the Swedish stock exchange before pivoting its business operations to the real estate sector under the name Slottsviken Fastighetsaktiebolag in 2014.
