Consolidated Midland Corporation was a pharmaceutical company based in Brewster, New York, that specialized in the manufacture and distribution of generic prescription drugs and over-the-counter (OTC) healthcare products. Established in the mid-20th century, the company built a reputation for providing a broad range of legacy small molecule medications to the U.S. market. Its product portfolio spanned various therapeutic areas, including pain management, respiratory health, and general medicine. In 2005, the company was acquired by The Harvard Drug Group, a major distributor of generic pharmaceuticals. Following the acquisition, Consolidated Midland's operations were integrated into the parent organization. The Harvard Drug Group was subsequently acquired by Cardinal Health in 2015, effectively making Consolidated Midland's legacy assets part of one of the largest healthcare services companies in the world.
