Consorcio Regenero

Consorcio Regenero is a Chilean biotechnology consortium and platform dedicated to the development, manufacturing, and commercialization of advanced cell therapies and regenerative medicine. Established as a strategic alliance between Cells for Cells, Universidad de los Andes, and Clínica Dávila, the organization focuses on mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) treatments, exosome-based therapeutics, and mitochondrial transfer technologies. Its clinical pipeline includes programs for osteoarthritis, heart failure, and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), with a strong emphasis on translational medicine. The consortium is also developing R-MATIS, the first advanced therapy manufacturing center in Chile, designed to produce CAR-T cells and other complex biological products. Consorcio Regenero aims to position Chile as a regional leader in the production and regulation of next-generation biotherapies.
