ADAM
Phase 1- Indications
- Male contraception
Company intelligence / Profile preview
Contraline has initiated a first-in-human clinical trial in Australia to assess the safety and effectiveness of its ADAM™ hydrogel implant for long-lasting, reversible male contraception. The device blocks sperm flow by being injected into the vas deferens via a minimally invasive procedure. Early results include successful implantation in patients; this represents the first clinical trial on a non-hormonal male contraceptive device in over two decades.
