Cook Pharmica

Cook Pharmica was a premier contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that provided integrated services for the biopharmaceutical industry. Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Bloomington, Indiana, the company specialized in large-molecule manufacturing, including cell culture, formulation, and aseptic fill/finish. It supported clients through all stages of drug development, from clinical trials to large-scale commercial production. In October 2017, Cook Pharmica was acquired by Catalent for $950 million to bolster Catalent's biologics platform. The Bloomington site remains a critical component of Catalent's global manufacturing network, continuing to serve major pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies worldwide.
