Cooperative Research Centre for Cell Therapy Manufacturing

The Cell Therapy Manufacturing Cooperative Research Centre (CTM CRC) was an Australian-based international consortium focused on developing new technologies to improve the manufacturing of cell-based therapies. Established in 2013 and operating until 2020, the center aimed to make cell therapies more affordable and accessible by automating processes and improving quality control. It brought together academic researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to translate laboratory discoveries into clinical-grade products. Key areas of focus included CAR-T cell therapies for cancer and mesenchymal stem cell treatments for inflammatory conditions and wound healing.
