Copharos

Copharos was a private U.S. biotechnology company focused on cancer detection products based on a vitamin B12-derived imaging technology. The company developed radiolabeled adenosylcobalamin-based diagnostic agents intended for nuclear imaging of tumors, including breast and lung cancers and brain metastases. Its lead known program, 111In-DAC, entered Phase 1 clinical testing for oncologic imaging. Publicly available information suggests the company was founded around 2000 in Florida, raised venture funding from healthcare-focused investors, and is no longer active.
