CorInnova’s preclinical studies have demonstrated that their minimally invasive soft robotic cardiac assist device can increase cardiac output by up to 50% in animal models of acute heart failure. The technology aims to provide short-term mechanical circulatory support without blood contact, reducing risks such as thrombosis and stroke associated with current devices. No human clinical results are available yet; first-in-human studies are in planning stages.
