Corneal Group Laboratoires was a French biotechnology and medical device company specializing in the development and manufacture of hyaluronic acid-based products for aesthetic and therapeutic use. The company is most notable for developing the Juvederm range of dermal fillers, which became a global leader in the non-surgical facial rejuvenation market. Beyond aesthetics, Corneal produced viscoelastic solutions for ophthalmic surgeries and injectable treatments for osteoarthritis. The company was acquired by Allergan in 2007 for approximately $450 million, a move that consolidated Allergan's dominant position in the medical aesthetics industry alongside Botox.
