1st Choice Healthcare is a non-profit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing comprehensive primary care services across Northeast Arkansas. Originally incorporated in 1992 as Corning Area Healthcare, the organization rebranded in 2014 to reflect its expansion into multiple counties. It operates several clinic locations, including facilities in Corning, Pocahontas, Walnut Ridge, Highland, Paragould, and Salem. The center offers a wide range of services such as family medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, and chronic disease management, primarily serving underserved and uninsured populations through a sliding fee scale. 1st Choice Healthcare is Joint Commission accredited and focuses on improving community health outcomes through accessible and affordable medical care.
