Correctional Healthcare Companies (CHC) was a U.S. private healthcare services company focused on providing outsourced medical, behavioral health, outpatient treatment, and case management services for correctional facilities and justice-involved populations. The company served county jails, state prisons, and related community corrections settings with integrated correctional healthcare programs designed to manage risk, improve continuity of care, and support reentry outcomes. CHC was headquartered in Greenwood Village, Colorado and expanded nationally across multiple states before being acquired. In 2018, CHC was acquired by Wellpath, and it does not appear to operate today as an independent active company. It was not a drug-development biotech or pharma company; rather, it was a healthcare delivery and managed-services business in the correctional health sector.
