Corvion

Corvion is a private pre-clinical medical device company developing a fully implanted left ventricular assist device for patients with severe or end-stage heart failure. The company is focused on mechanical circulatory support and aims to improve quality of life versus conventional LVADs by eliminating the percutaneous driveline through a fully implanted power system and wireless transcutaneous charging. Its core product concept combines a high-efficiency centrifugal rotary blood pump, a small implanted battery/controller, and an external mobile charger.
