Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute

Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute is one of the largest non-profit providers of comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation services in the US Midwest. Formed by the merger of two historic organizations—Courage Center and Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Institute—in June 2013, it operates as part of Allina Health. The institute offers inpatient/outpatient rehab therapies across more than forty locations with a focus on maximizing independence after brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, orthopedic trauma/surgery recovery, chronic illness/disability management, pediatric developmental issues—and also runs extensive adaptive sports/community wellness programs. It does not develop drugs/devices but instead delivers evidence-based clinical care using innovative models supported by analytics to improve patient outcomes at scale.
