Covidgenics

Covidgenics is a private Ontario, Canada-based healthcare company focused on in vitro diagnostics and point-of-care testing. Publicly available information on the company is limited, but CardioGenics disclosed in September 2021 that Covidgenics obtained an exclusive 10-year global license to CardioGenics' QL Care Analyzer technology and paramagnetic bead technology. Based on that disclosure, Covidgenics appears to be oriented toward commercialization of immunoassay-based diagnostic products rather than therapeutic drug development. There is no clear evidence that the company has a broad disclosed therapeutic pipeline, clinical-stage drug assets, or public market listing. The company appears to be a small private diagnostics venture associated with COVID-19-related testing or adjacent immunoassay applications.
