CreaNutrition was a Swiss-based life sciences company that specialized in the development and marketing of functional food ingredients, most notably the OatWell brand of oat beta-glucan. The company focused on clinically proven ingredients that address major health concerns such as high cholesterol and blood sugar management. Its products were supported by extensive clinical research and achieved significant regulatory milestones, including health claim approvals from the EFSA and the FDA. In 2013, the OatWell business and associated assets were acquired by DSM Nutritional Products, integrating CreaNutrition's portfolio into DSM's global nutrition division.
