Creative Biopeptides

Creative Biopeptides was a biotechnology company focused on developing peptide-based therapeutics for neurodegenerative and neurotrophic disorders. The company's primary research centered on neuroprotective peptides derived from the activity-dependent neuroprotective protein (ADNP). Its lead candidate, an eight-amino acid peptide called NAP (davunetide), was designed to stabilize microtubules and protect neurons from oxidative stress and toxicity. Creative Biopeptides licensed its core technology to Allon Therapeutics, which advanced davunetide into Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials for indications including Alzheimer's disease and Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
