Creative Computer Applications (CCA) was a healthcare information technology company that specialized in clinical data management and workflow solutions for hospitals and clinics. Founded in 1978, the company developed and marketed a suite of clinical information systems, including Laboratory Information Systems (LIS), Pharmacy Information Systems, and Radiology Information Systems (RIS). In 2005, CCA merged with StorCOMM, enabling the integration of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) into its product line. The company was publicly traded under the symbol CCAI until it was acquired by Merge Healthcare in 2010. Its legacy technologies were eventually absorbed into IBM Watson Health following IBM's acquisition of Merge.
