CREmedical has developed a novel non-invasive brain sensing and neuromodulation platform based on tripolar concentric ring electrodes. Their technology demonstrates improved signal quality for EEG recordings, real-time artifact suppression, enhanced spatial resolution, and the ability to both detect new biomarkers and modulate neural activity. Preclinical results show efficacy in stopping or reducing seizures in animal models of epilepsy by increasing inhibitory neurotransmitter GABA levels and reducing excitatory glutamate levels.
