Company intelligence / Profile preview
Crestani was an Italian manufacturer of primary glass packaging for the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, specializing in high-technology glass ampoules and related packaging components. The company was founded in 1950 in the Vicenza area and built a reputation as a supplier to Italian and international pharmaceutical customers. In December 2021, Crestani was acquired by Entangled Capital SGR and Capital Dynamics as part of a consolidation strategy in pharmaceutical glass packaging. Crestani was subsequently integrated with SM Pack, and the combined business was renamed Alphial in 2022. As a result, Crestani no longer appears to operate as an independent company, but its operations and manufacturing capabilities continue within Alphial.
