Critical Home Care

Critical Home Care was a specialized healthcare services company providing home infusion therapy and specialty pharmacy services. Based in Garden City, New York, the company focused on the delivery and administration of complex medications for patients with chronic and acute conditions, including nutritional support, IV antibiotics, and chemotherapy. In March 2006, the company was acquired by BioScrip, Inc. for approximately $15 million to expand BioScrip's service footprint in the Northeast United States. Following the acquisition, its operations were integrated into BioScrip's national network, which eventually became part of Option Care Health.
