CryoSave was a leading international stem cell bank specializing in the collection, processing, and cryopreservation of umbilical cord blood and cord tissue stem cells. Founded in 2000, the company operated in over 40 countries and was once the largest private cord blood bank in Europe, providing families with long-term storage for potential future therapeutic use. The company's services were designed to preserve neonatal stem cells for the treatment of various hematological, industrial, and genetic conditions. However, CryoSave faced significant financial and legal challenges, leading to its bankruptcy in 2019 and the subsequent transfer of its stored biological samples to the FamiCord Group (PBKM) in Poland.
