CTEX

CTEX is a Japan-based regenerative medicine company spun out of Hyogo Medical University to develop and support cell therapies originating from academia. The company is focused on amniotic mesenchymal stem cell-based regenerative medicine and angiogenesis approaches, and is also commercializing NeoSERA, a bovine platelet lysate raw material for cell culture used in pharmaceutical and regenerative medicine applications. Its lead development effort is ICS-001, an injectable cell scaffold-based angiogenesis therapy for chronic limb-threatening ischemia being advanced through an investigator-initiated clinical trial. CTEX also provides translational and research support intended to help move academic cell therapy seeds from research into clinical application.
