- Pancreatic cancer, Breast cancer, Melanoma, Neuroblastoma
Company intelligence / Profile preview
CureFAKtor Pharmaceuticals has developed a proprietary small molecule inhibitor platform targeting focal adhesion kinase (FAK), a key survival signal in solid tumors. Their lead compound CFAK-C4 and analogs have shown strong preclinical efficacy against multiple cancers, especially pancreatic, breast, melanoma, neuroblastoma, colon, and lung cancers. In animal models and cell lines, these compounds disrupt the FAK–VEGFR3 interaction to inhibit tumor growth and angiogenesis with high specificity and low toxicity. The company received FDA Orphan Drug Designation for CFAK-C4 plus gemcitabine in pancreatic cancer but has not reported completed clinical trials as of the latest available information.
