CureHIV (CureHIV.us) was a non-profit public charity founded by Dr. Roger Kenneth Hershline to facilitate the development and distribution of novel HIV treatments. The organization served as a conduit for Global Humanceuticals, Inc., focusing on a lead drug candidate known as LiSAVIOR (also referred to as compound NIAID #11039). LiSAVIOR was described as an early-stage HIV life cycle inhibitor with an alpha-glucose backbone designed to block viral entry and cell-to-cell transfer, specifically targeting the gastrointestinal tract. Despite seeking funding from major organizations like the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 2008, the program did not appear to progress into clinical trials. The organization is currently inactive, and its founder continues to practice medicine in South Carolina.
