Originally established in 2006 as a joint venture between Elsevier and the Science Navigation Group, the company developed the 'Target Insights' database, which provided curated, evidence-based information on protein targets. The platform offered researchers critical insights into target validation, safety, and druggability to streamline the R&D process. In 2013, Elsevier acquired the remaining stake in the company to fully integrate its data assets and expertise into Elsevier's life science R&D solutions portfolio.
