Cybex International

Cybex International was an American manufacturer of commercial and consumer fitness equipment, with product lines spanning cardio machines, strength systems, rehabilitation devices, and sports medicine equipment. The company became especially known for the Arc Trainer, treadmills, exercise bikes, and selectorized and plate-loaded strength products. Cybex sold globally and historically served health clubs, colleges, professional sports teams, military facilities, and rehabilitation settings. In January 2016, Brunswick Corporation acquired Cybex for approximately $195 million and integrated it into the Life Fitness brand portfolio. The Cybex name continues primarily as a product brand rather than an independent operating company.
