Cyclis Pharma was a biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of macrocyclic small molecules to address "undruggable" therapeutic targets. Founded by industry veterans Dr. Michael Foley and Dr. Stuart Schreiber, the company leveraged a proprietary platform to create diverse libraries of cyclic compounds with high affinity and specificity. The technology aimed to bridge the gap between traditional small molecules and large biologics by providing cell-permeable molecules capable of disrupting protein-protein interactions. In 2018, the company was acquired by Deerfield Management to serve as the foundation for Deerfield Discovery and Development (3D).
