Company intelligence / Profile preview
Cyclofluidic was a UK-based biotechnology company that pioneered an integrated, closed-loop drug discovery platform. Founded as a joint venture between Pfizer, UCB, and the UK government's Technology Strategy Board, the company focused on automating the "design-make-test" cycle. Its technology combined microfluidic flow chemistry with automated biological screening to rapidly evolve lead compounds for small molecule drug discovery. By significantly reducing the time between chemical synthesis and biological assay results, Cyclofluidic aimed to accelerate the identification of high-quality clinical candidates. The company operated out of Welwyn Garden City until its dissolution in 2016.
