Cynaptec Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Cynaptec Pharmaceuticals is a newly formed biopharmaceutical company spun out from Lobe Sciences Ltd. in April 2025 to develop and commercialize Conjugated Psilocin™, an oral, stable analog of psilocin designed for improved bioavailability and efficacy. The company has secured $6 million in initial funding with an option for an additional $20 million to support clinical development through Phase 3 trials targeting chronic cluster headaches—a severe orphan neurological condition—and is also exploring substance use disorder as a secondary indication. Clinical development is currently at the preclinical/Phase 1/Phase 2a stage with plans for expansion pending further investment.
