Company intelligence / Profile preview
Cypress Creek Emergency Medical Services (CCEMS) was a prominent non-profit emergency medical services provider based in Houston, Texas, serving North Harris County for over 45 years. Founded in 1975, the organization provided 911 emergency response, advanced life support, and paramedic training to a service area of approximately 177 square miles. CCEMS was recognized for its high clinical standards and innovative pre-hospital care protocols, including early adoption of field-based technologies. However, following a protracted legal and contractual dispute with Harris County Emergency Services District No. 11 (ESD 11), the organization lost its primary service contract. CCEMS ceased its 911 emergency operations in late 2021 and subsequently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
