Overview
Cystemix developed PENAO, a novel small molecule targeting tumor cell metabolism. Early testing showed promising results in shrinking tumors. The company partnered with Beroni Group and University of New South Wales to fund and advance clinical development into Phase 1/2 trials for pancreatic cancer. The program was later transferred to a new entity ("PENAO Company") formed by Beroni Group and UNSW.
