Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Pharmacy

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Pharmacy was a specialized pharmacy service established by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to provide patients with access to critical medications and specialized care management for cystic fibrosis. Founded to address the unique needs of the CF community, the pharmacy offered a comprehensive range of therapies, including inhaled antibiotics, pancreatic enzymes, and specialized vitamins. In 2006, the pharmacy was acquired by Walgreens to expand its specialty pharmacy capabilities and integrate CF-specific expertise into a larger distribution network. Today, the services formerly provided by CFFP are managed through Walgreens' specialty pharmacy division, continuing the focus on chronic and complex respiratory conditions.
