Overview
Cyteph’s lead candidate, CYT-101, is an off-the-shelf HLA-matched CMV-specific T cell product currently in Phase 2 clinical development for astrocytoma and glioblastoma multiforme. Previous trials with autologous CMV-specific T cells showed safety and preliminary efficacy. The company’s proprietary Cyt-ATTAC platform aims to overcome challenges of solid tumor immunotherapy by using allogeneic donor-derived virus-specific killer T cells engineered with dual-targeting CARs[1][3][4].
