Clinical trials conducted on more than 240 patients demonstrated the ability of CYT107 to expand and protect CD4+ and CD8+ T-cells in various pathologic conditions with a consistent safety and tolerability profile. In HIV patients, a Phase I/II study showed that after 48 weeks, patients treated at the higher dose level had a median increase in CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell counts of 75% and 57%, respectively, from baseline levels.
