Cytomics Systems was a French biotechnology company specializing in high-content screening (HCS) and cell-based assay technologies for drug discovery. Founded in 2000 and based in Gif-sur-Yvette, the company developed proprietary platforms that integrated automated microscopy, fluorescent probes, and advanced image analysis to study cellular processes in real-time. Their solutions were designed to provide pharmaceutical and biotech researchers with high-quality data on drug efficacy and toxicity at the cellular level. The company operated as both a technology provider and a contract research organization, supporting various therapeutic areas including oncology and central nervous system disorders. In 2006, Cytomics Systems was acquired by Cisbio Bioassays, which sought to enhance its portfolio of drug discovery tools and services. Following the acquisition, its technologies were integrated into Cisbio's global offerings, which eventually became part of Revvity.
