Overview
Cytos Biotechnology developed targeted immunotherapies, with its lead candidate CYT003 reaching Phase 2b clinical trials for asthma. The company demonstrated that CYT003 could maintain asthma control and lung function after withdrawal of standard therapy, with a good safety profile in over 450 patients. In January 2016, the company merged with Kuros Biosurgery Holding Ltd., was renamed Kuros Biosciences Ltd., and ceased to exist as an independent entity[5][6].
