Company intelligence / Profile preview
CytoSen Therapeutics was a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing next-generation natural killer (NK) cell therapies for cancer. The company's proprietary FC21 platform utilized plasma membrane particles to expand and activate high-dose NK cells with enhanced anti-tumor activity. CytoSen's lead programs targeted hematological malignancies, including acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndrome. In 2019, the company was acquired by Kiadis Pharma to combine its NK cell expansion technology with Kiadis's cell therapy pipeline. Following Kiadis's acquisition by Sanofi in 2021, the technology is now part of Sanofi's oncology portfolio.
