Dagra Pharmaceuticals

Dagra Pharmaceuticals is a historical Dutch pharmaceutical company, originally founded as Dagra NV in 1932 and based in Diemen, Netherlands. The company specialized in the development and manufacture of vitamins, hormone replacement therapies, and diagnostic imaging agents, with well-known brands such as Dagravit and Dagynil. Following its acquisition by Byk Gulden (Altana) in 1982, the company passed through several owners, including ASTA Medica and Meda, before eventually becoming part of Viatris. While the original legal entity has been integrated into larger corporate structures, the Dagra name and its product portfolio remain active in various international markets, particularly in the Middle East and Europe.
