Dalat Pasteur Vaccines

Dalat Pasteur Vaccines Company Limited (DAVAC) is a prominent state-owned vaccine manufacturer in Vietnam, operating under the supervision of the Ministry of Health. Originally established in 1936 as the Pasteur Institute of Dalat by Dr. Alexandre Yersin, the facility was incorporated as a limited liability company in 2010. DAVAC is the sole producer of typhoid vaccines in Vietnam, manufacturing the Vi polysaccharide vaccine and advancing a next-generation Vi-DT typhoid conjugate vaccine in collaboration with the International Vaccine Institute (IVI). In addition to its vaccine portfolio, the company produces various probiotics and biological products while providing specialized medical laboratory and testing services. DAVAC remains a critical component of Vietnam's Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) and regional public health security.
