Originally established as an Adventist hospital, it was acquired by Ramsay Health Care in 2005 and integrated into their extensive network of private healthcare facilities. The facility officially ceased operations in late 2017, with its specialized services and staff relocating to the Northern Beaches Hospital and other Ramsay-operated sites.
